Can I request a fully customized itinerary? Yes! We specialize in creating tailor-made trips designed around your interests, schedule, and budget. Whether you want a cultural exploration, desert adventure, or something uniquely your own, we will craft the perfect Tunisia journey just for you.

Is there a fee for itinerary planning, and is it refundable? Yes, we charge a $100 itinerary planning fee that covers the time and expertise required to create a personalized travel plan tailored just for you. If you choose to book your custom trip through Maktaris Travel Tunisia (MTT), this fee is not refunded but instead credited toward your final trip cost with MTT.

Can I modify a tour I saw on your website? Absolutely. You can adjust the hotel category (such as standard, comfort, or luxury) without requiring a full custom itinerary. However, if you want to change the number of days, destinations, or included activities, this will be considered a custom itinerary and subject to the $100 planning fee.

How long does it take to receive a custom itinerary? Typically, we provide the first draft of your custom itinerary within 7 to 10 business days after receiving your trip preferences and planning fee.

Can I book only land services (without flights or hotels)? Yes, of course! While we don’t book flights, we’re here to take care of everything once you arrive in Tunisia — from comfortable transportation and welcoming guides to cozy accommodations and memorable activities. You’re welcome to arrange your own flights and hotels, and we’ll make sure your time in Tunisia is seamless and unforgettable.

Who do I pay for my trip? Nomadia Signature collects the $100 CAD itinerary planning (consultation) fee for creating your personalized travel plan. All other payments for the trip — including accommodations, transportation, and services in Tunisia — are made directly to Maktaris Travel Tunisia (MTT), a fully licensed local travel agency.

When and how do I make payments? The $100 CAD planning fee is paid upfront to Nomadia Signature. Once your itinerary is approved, all trip-related payments are made directly to MTT. MTT will provide payment instructions based on your location, and you’ll be able to pay in CAD or USD, whichever is more convenient for you.

Is it safe to pay a Tunisian travel agency? Yes. MTT and Tunisia China Travel (TCT) are fully licensed by the Tunisian National Tourism Office with over 15 years of experience serving international travelers. Your payments are handled securely and transparently.

Can I pay in my local currency? The $100 consultation fee to Nomadia Signature is charged in Canadian dollars (CAD). For your trip payments to Maktaris Travel Tunisia (MTT), you’ll usually have the option to pay in CAD, USD, or EUR, depending on your location and preference. We’ll make sure you receive clear payment instructions. If you're paying from outside Canada, we also recommend checking with your bank for exchange rates or any applicable fees.

Is the consultation fee refundable? The $100 consultation fee paid to Nomadia Signature is non-refundable, as it reflects the time and expertise involved in building your custom itinerary. However, if you go ahead and book your personalized trip through Maktaris Travel Tunisia (MTT) or Tunisia China Travel (TCT), the fee will be credited toward your final trip cost.

What is the cancellation policy for my trip? When booking with MTT or TCT, a 20% deposit is required to confirm your itinerary. This deposit is refundable if you cancel more than 30 days before departure. If you cancel within 30 days, the deposit is non-refundable. Full cancellation terms will be provided at the time of booking. We strongly recommend securing travel insurance to cover unexpected changes or emergencies.

What languages do your guides speak? Our standard guide languages include English, French, Arabic, and Chinese. Additional languages can be arranged upon request, depending on availability.

A: While we strive to follow the planned itinerary, unforeseen events such as strikes, severe weather, or transportation disruptions (force majeure) may require adjustments. Any additional costs incurred due to these events will be the traveler’s responsibility.

Is travel insurance required? A: We strongly recommend all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.

What if I have dietary restrictions or medical conditions? A: Please inform us of any dietary requirements, allergies, or medical conditions prior to your trip. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs.

Is the tour safe for children or seniors? A: Yes, our itineraries are designed with comfort and safety in mind for all ages. However, we advise consulting your healthcare provider if you have specific health concerns, especially regarding desert travel or long-distance journeys.

What should I do in case of an emergency during the tour? A: Your guide will provide 24/7 contact information and support throughout your trip. In the event of a serious emergency, local authorities or medical services will be contacted immediately.
